    I am confused by the cooking times listed on the ‘cooking times’ page and those in the recipes for fish. The cooking times page indicate 3 minutes for cod, 2 minutes for fish fillet and 5 minutes for salmon (low pressure, stovetop). However, when I view some of the linked recipes, the times indicates are 7-8 minutes for ‘Easy Pressure Steamed Mediterranean Style Fish’ (cod or fish fillet link). I am trying to determine an appropriate time to cook salmon fillets. Can you explain the discrepancies?

    Yes, the times on the chart are for “boiled” and the mediterranean filet is steamed AND covered. The cooking time depends on the technique and whether the fish is in a packet, or covered with tomatoes, etc. (which requires a longer cooking time).
