I had a question about storing soup or stew in the Instant Pot pot. I have, for the past 4 weeks, been making various soups or stews on Sundays, in our Instant Pot 6 qrt., for my wife and I to eat for lunches during the work week. My question is, is this ok to do? Can there be any sort of chemical reaction between the food and the pot, itself? I believe it’s stainless steel, but I still wonder if there could be any negative sides to this. I could easily transfer the soup to a glass container, but it’s convenient to just use the one pot. Also, the soup seems to taste ok, up until the following Thursday, when it usually runs out.
Any input is appreciated.
