    Just made my first batch of yogurt in InstantPot and have questions. At what point do you add sweeteners? I waited until completely finished and added honey but it made it way too soupy.
    Also, after it was cooked in refrigerator with lids on, I tasted one jar and halfway through the half pint jar I got a bite of something like white paper..YUK! Could it be a skin that may have formed on top and I didn’t notice it? It seems to be in each of the 5 jars I made.

    Suzy you can add sweeteners and flavors when you inoculate the milk – however if you plan to save some of THAT yogurt to make another batch, make a small jar without any sugar or flavors.

    Also, the papery kinda-gummy thing is the skin from the milk during the cool off. If it bothers you, what you can do is remove the skin with a fork (and eat it or throw it away) before you inoculate the milk.
